My Fave: Moisturizers

Let's talk about moisturizers. Moisturizers are very important products to include in our daily skincare regimen. We all have different skin types and choosing the best moisturizer depending on your skin type (oily, dry, combination and normal) can help us achieve its maximum benefits and can prevent some of the signs of aging. Personally, I have combination skin because I can sometimes get oily around my forehead, but can sometimes get dry around my nose and cheeks.

My favorite moisturizer from Clinique is their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ which retails for $26. Their dermatologist developed formula has been clinically tested to help strengthen the skin's moisture barrier by 54% so that more moisture stays in. This lotion is suitable for those with dry to dry combination skin like myself. I have been using this lotion on my face for years and it has never let me down! My skin always feels hydrated and not oily and it works well underneath my makeup. Clinique has some of the best skincare products on the market and they have developed 2 different moisturizing products to to tackle some of our skincare concerns. They also developed their Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Gel which is oil free and more suitable for those with combination oily to oily skin.

Another one of my favorites is the Clean and Clear Essentials Dual Action Moisturizer which retails for $6.99 at Ulta Beauty. The active ingredient is Salicylic Acid (0.5%) so it helps fight and prevent pimples from forming and because I have acne this works well with my sensitive skin. It has a fresh clean scent and you can feel its medicating properties as soon as you apply it to your skin. This is another product that I love and have been using since high school.
